Seymour Whyte is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to support the commercial delivery of the Creek Connect project. This role is responsible for managing delivery contracts and major subcontracts, ensuring strong commercial performance, effective cost control and compliance across all stages of the works.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you’ll manage procurement activities, administer contracts under the NEC4 framework, oversee cost forecasting and claims, and support risk and change management. You’ll also provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing commercial team supporting this major infrastructure program.

Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the Role:
- Manage end‑to‑end commercial administration of delivery contracts and major subcontracts
- Support procurement activities including scope review, tender evaluation and contract documentation
- Administer contracts under the NEC4 framework across delivery, claims, variations and close‑out
- Maintain accurate cost forecasting, commercial reporting and risk registers
- Assess and manage commercial and contractual risks, escalating issues as required
- Support claims, compensation events and dispute resolution processes
- Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, delivery partners and internal stakeholders
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline
- Strong experience administering delivery contracts and major subcontracts on civil or infrastructure projects
- Proven capability working under NEC4 or similar contract frameworks
- Solid understanding of procurement, cost forecasting, claims and variations management
- Experience identifying and managing commercial and contractual risk
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across project teams and contractors

Many of our projects are not accessible via public transport and require travel between and within active construction sites. As a result, a current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on site are essential.
