Seymour Whyte, together with Vinci Grande Projects and Beca, has been chosen by ICON Water to deliver the Design and Construct upgrade of the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre - the ACT’s main wastewater treatment facility and the largest of its kind in inland Australia. This four-year project will modernise the plant’s waste handling systems, support future growth, and prepare for potential changes to air emission standards. Located near central Canberra, the upgrade will strengthen and future-proof critical infrastructure for the region.
As Senior Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping one of inland Australia’s most significant wastewater projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless contract management, from procurement to close-out, safeguarding compliance and financial integrity. About the role:
- Administer head contract and ensure compliance with conditions
- Manage subcontractor agreements from tender to close-out
- Process payments, variations, and cost accruals accurately
- Support project team with commercial advice and reporting
- Deliver training and maintain financial systems on-site
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Diploma or certificate in financial/commercial administration or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of head contracts and subcontract terms
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Sound negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in procurement and commercial processes in a principal contractor environment
