As Project Engineer, you will coordinate on site construction engineering functions for allocated disciplines, providing support for construction activities.
About the role:
- Oversee and coordinate on-site construction engineering activities.
- Manage and mentor direct reports and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment and compliance with standards.
- Interpret and improve construction designs and drive continuous improvement.
- Track and report on project costs, revenue, productivity and resource allocation.
- Champion safety by leading HSEQ initiatives, conducting training, and addressing risks to ensure accident-free project delivery.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure construction projects for State authorities.
- Strong knowledge of company quality procedures, WHS, and environmental legislation, and ability to produce SWMS and ITPs for specific trades.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, budget development, and preparation of contractual claims and variations.
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
