Upper South Creek Network Project – Supporting Western Sydney’s Growth!
Be part of a large scale, long term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first stage of work beginning before the end of the year. The project also emphasizes safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the role:
- Implement and support the project’s communication and engagement plan to build community and stakeholder support.
- Plan and deliver communication campaigns for traffic changes, doorknocks, info centres, briefings, and meetings.
- Create project communications, including newsletters, media releases, social media content, and traffic alerts, following brand and approval guidelines.
- Coordinate project events, such as community meetings, launches, open days, and workshops.
- Maintain project photo libraries and update the community relations database.
- Provide regular reporting to the client and project management team.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in a similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience in communications within the civil construction industry, particularly at the project site level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building rapport.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s licence.
