Join a newly formed project team for a major government road project. Initially based in the city, you’ll be part of an exciting journey as we transition into the delivery phase. Once we move into the delivery phase, you’ll be based in the eastern suburbs. This is your chance to be part of something impactful from the ground up!
Your next opportunity could be as a Senior Communications & Stakeholder Advisor! In this role, you’ll take charge of strategic communications, foster strong relationships with clients and communities, and ensure seamless project delivery. From coordinating site visits to crafting compelling content and minimising impacts, your expertise will be key to driving project success and enhancing our reputation.
About the role:
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the community, ensuring clear communication and understanding of expectations for successful project delivery.
- Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive Stakeholder Relations and Communications Management Plan, ensuring all materials and messages are tailored to meet project goals and minimise community impacts.
- Risk Mitigation & Impact Minimisation: Proactively identify and address potential risks or disruptions to stakeholders and the community, working closely with construction teams to minimise negative impacts.
- Community Engagement & Outreach: Coordinate and manage regular stakeholder meetings, community forums, and site visits, maintaining transparent communication and fostering positive relationships with local residents and businesses.
- High-Quality Communication Delivery: Produce clear, professional communication materials such as newsletters, social media posts, and formal letters, ensuring consistent and effective messaging to all project stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) or certificate or relevant experience (disciplines relevant to the function area, e.g. public relations, journalism, stakeholder management, marketing).
- Multi-discipline experience, e.g. corporate communications, stakeholder relations, marketing communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
